  • Optishot lighting

Is there an agreed upon temperature light that should be used with Optishot. I can't get a straight answer from the company. Sounds like 5000K is too similar to daylight and 3000K or less is too much IR/too incandescent. Is 4000K ideal? I'm looking to get a warm filter to go over my 5000K LED lights that have only worsened my misread problem.

Most common garage type fluorescent lamps fall to near zero IR emission after 740nm. Ultraviolet (295-400 nm), Visible (400-700 nm), and Infrared (700-2,500 nm). IR LEDs Emitter/receiver are typically at 940nm. As long as you stay out of that range you should not see any interference. You should be OK for nearly all LED lighting to down to 1000K. You also may want to look at taping or painting your clubs. Flat white works best. Oddly bare metal clubs will bend and distort the IR signal and give you mis-reads.
Led Color Chart - help yourself to choose your next LED or CFL bulb using led color chart. This chart will give you basic idea about what does nM (nanometers) or wavelength mean with respect to the color of LEDs.
