Hello, I just bought an opti shot last year. I have my system do a two putt gimmie fairly often. I have my auto putt set on ten feet and I hit the ball closer than ten feet and it will randomly give me a two putt gimmie. Do you have any idea how to change that setting, or is it a virus in my opti shot software.

If you are hitting your 4th shot from outside 10 ft and land within the 10ft gimme window, your score for that hole is a 5.

If it is giving you a 6, then there may be something wrong with your system and you would need to contact the Optishot folks.

Not sure I understand the problem. Do you believe it should give you a 1 putt gimmie? The auto-putt feature utilizes statistice to determine how many putts you are given. It doesn't just give a 1 putt if you are inside the range you designate. You could just as easily select 30 ft and it would use statistics to determine if you get a 1, 2, 3, or 4 putt "gimmie". That is the way the auto-putt feature works.
