Good Question,
The System is not there yet to provide accurate handicaps at this point, however once we have a minimum of 10 Rounds it will be able to give a pretty accurate Handicap Index, At that point I can show that against the Weighted handicap. Right now you have no rounds in the database.. But after this week and next week you will be up to 6 Rounds.. That's why is it so important that we get the rounds in.

Is it possible to see the handicaps on the website somehow? Our own handicaps as well as the handicaps of those who have entered?

Is it the "index" number on the scorecards / leaderboards.

Yes, but Catman needs to enable handicaps for all of you first. The system will calculate after the 4th round and will be displayed as Index on the scorecard when you start your 5th round. If you already have 4 rounds, you'll have a cap.

You can view the leadboard for that tournament to see the Index for everybody. 4 rounds is obviously not enough so the Cat will have to override them until after the 6th or 8th round. After the 6th round, it should be close.

BUT might be able to squeeze in a round v. early in the morning GMT+2 (still wednesday in some parts of the USA) on thursday ... I guess that is too early and the rounds will start when the sun rises EST? Sunday would not be a problem for me.

I plan on playing my first round on either Thursday night around 7:00 or Friday after lunch. I'll be able to play my second round anytime on Sunday. Everyone hit it well!

Thank you for the response. Just to make sure I am understanding correctly, please see the attached picture. Circled is the handicaps, correct? I understand the majority of people do not have enough rounds, thus the 0 in the column, but want to make sure I am looking in the correct place for the future.

Yes, that is the handicap column. I believe some of you already have 4 rounds. It's not showing because it needs to be enabled in the player's profile. Cat will do that for you guys when he's ready.

Lol Nick, I saw it when Iwas watching you play on Twitch, yes you can play both rounds on Sunday . I will sending invites out Thursday morning for both rounds, you will find them in the invitation games in optishot online menu. Any questions you know where to find me lol.

I was just thinking. Does anyone have any idea of how many optishots have been shipped? How many people worldwide are hacking their clubs in a basement somewhere? My guess would be thousands if not tens of thousands. Optishot golf has over 3000 likes on Facebook. Now... One would assume that a healthy portion of those would be using it regularly. This thing we have going here should have alot of potential. The only question is... How do we get more people to join...? I would say that Facebook would probably be of quite alot of help. I posted info on the Optishot FB page. Probably would be a good idea for other people to join in there and also make some noise.
