Wow. A 64 in 25 min. Two and a half shots per minute including computer loading times. That's just insane. I take nearly an hour and a half for a round... I guess I'm just slow then... or maybe it's the extra 10 shots and the complaining and moaning that goes with them. LOL

Congrats Willywoods! Not a single bogey on a tough course with danger on most shots. Great round dude .My fastest round is about 50 minutes. Did you really play 18 holes in 25 minutes 🏃 ? Thats super-speed golf !!!

And yes I can play a round shooting good or bad in less then a half hour. I don't understand how it could take any longer. What does everybody do when it's loading for the next shot. Here's my routine. It might speed up play. So once I hit my shot I go back to the computer and wait for the screen to change for next shot. Once it changes. I look at yardage and wind and adjust and step up and hit shot.

On a side note. You guys have no idea when I was standing on 17 how shaky I was. Just 30 minutes before that I was standing on that hole and shot 3 in the water. So you must understand what was going through my mind. But I hit it well and stuck it 3 feet from the pin. I'm sure my neighbors heard me yelling. Lol.

Like I was telling catman in real golf I'm a plus 2 handicapp. And I had my optishot for over a year now and never touched the putter. I had 30ft gimme putts and was shooting in the mid 50s. But since joining the tour online I had to learn out to putt. In the -8 round I didnt 3 putt. Normally I would 5 putt once or twice or 3 putt 6 or 7 times a round. So when you figure all that in. You can u set stand why it was such a low score.

Honestly I hope I can do that again many times because wow. It's such a rush. It's like competive golf in the real world and I had that feeling last night. I was so ecstatic that I vouldnt even sleep last night. It does pay off to practise putting.

Anyways thanks for listening and hope you guys don't think I have cheated like I'm being accused of right now. Feels like somebody punched you in the gut.

I won't accuse you of cheating, but I will say that the practice round we did together a few days ago and your constant 350+ yard drives seemed a bit suspicious. Personally, I don't care as there are no prizes here other than bragging rights.

If your round is legit, it is an amazing round. Bogey free on that course is outstanding especially in that time limit. You should be proud.

I am a 7 handicap and a typical round in OptiShot takes me roughly 45 minutes and I think I play pretty fast.

That is all I will say about the matter.

No problem Willy , I don't think people think you cheated, It's just the speed of play thats probably half of most of ours ! I hope I don't slow you down too much if we play together🐢 I find myself taking alot of time finding balls, placing or teeing them and setting up the shot. I don't take a practice swing anymore and I am always checking my video to make sure its focused for you tube( hopefully I can twitch soon) . It took a while but I love the putting in optishot. Even more now that the greens are never the same speed since playing on tour.( I always had them on medium slow) Wait until you try fast ...... like putting on a crooked pool table ! Do you tape your short irons and are you playing them mid stance ? Good luck this weekend dude.

So once again I have to defend myself. The 350 yard drive that you were talking about was down wind with a 123 mh swing. Average distance is around 300. With a swing speed of around 115. In real golf that's what I hit also. So why would it be any different in optishot.
Maybe from now on I will play with the 3 wood where I can.hit 260 to 280 with swing speed of 110. To keep things fair.

And if anybody wants to play together I'm up for that. But we play at our own speed. I played with a couple guys last week and it felt like forever. I was taking two to three practise swing hitting the ball into the net before it was my shot.

So catman. If you say you want to play I'm up for that but we play at our own speed instead of waiting for each other to hit.

I'll say a few things since catman talked to zmax and I about this particular situation. First off I'll start by saying that I can play a round by myself with my GC2 and protee software in 40 mins easily. This summer I could not play much real golf so I played alot of sim golf and I would squeeze a round in here and there when I had 45 mins free. This is a standard protee round with 5ft gimmies. Now is that 25 mins? No, but I dont own an optishot so I dont know whats possible on there. The issue here really is about scorecard verification. It is a requirement that catman posted about at the beginning of this league. Can a +2 score 64? I think absolutely, but again I dont have an optishot? Can he do it in 25mins? I personally dont know and wouldn't rule it out. The problem is the round is not verified and no one can say for sure what happened. If it was me, I'd say shoot and void the round and play it again just for the sake of integrity. I'm sure catman will help set up Twitch and you can probably go low again. I know that it sucks to lose such a nice round, but you'll go low again as a +2 dont worry!

I'm a little confused on the comment about verification. Any of us should be able to login to Optisht and see the other scores. They are all visible if you hiise the round and view scorecard. That has changed a little now that the invites will be based on rank. However, there should still be 3 other players that can verify any individual score.

Scorecard

Scores for all Rounds will be entered in Live format. Entry will be done after completion of each hole player must enter score on WEB site, this will give players the opportunity to know where they sit during game play.

All scorecards will be verified, any scorecard that is inaccurate is subject to a 2 stroke penalty for EACH Entry that is incorrect, and if it is found that the entry was done on purpose it will result in disqualification from the Tournament.

ALL Scorecards in Optishot Game are subject to Monitoring, and Verified before Completion of Tournament.

I was told the round didnt show in optishot and he didnt have twitch running either.
