Gentleman we are real close to our 1st Major, Please plan ahead and get the Golf Course if you plan on participating. Ponte Verde is the Name Optishot uses. Majors are 4 Round Events and will go from Tuesday - Sunday Majors are also worth more points..

Conditions will vary from Round to Round some easy and some tough, but in end you will feel it was a Major, and well deserving of the Trophy..

All Major Networks are covering the Event.

I still want the times to be flexible, Rounds still can be played from Thursday-Sunday... This is just a matter of players that are closely Ranked play the same Course as far as Pin Settings.. I could go either way on this one, but I'm leaving it up to the Majority...

I like the idea of doing the game invites based on where you are on the leaderboard. That way you're playing the same pin locations as the 2 or 3 players closest to you in that particular tournament. This will be difficult however because you'd have to wait until everyone finishes their 2 rounds before you set them up. Therefore, I think doing it by ranking will work just fine.

On a side note... I got an encouraging response from Kurt last night (co-founder of DD) regarding the pin settings. He said he loved that idea and would move it in to the short list for features they needed to add. I think they are taking our suggestions to heart.

I agree. It will be near impossible to get 4 people on the same schedule at the same time. As long as you play the same game as those other 3 people, you will have the same pin locations. That's Great Newss Corey, having that ability with Tournament Mode would make much better and easier, having a Leaderboard will be Bonus!!!!!!

Also In my situation I would need you guys to go in and Join the Match created and back out, then play at your convenience, because unless you names are in there once I finish my round the Match goes away. because I created it..

There is the problem of potentially having a dozen players starting their third or fourth round in say the top four... (with lots of players still to play the second) it all depends on the other players timetables... we will only know the top 4 after everyone has played the previous round...

If I understand what you are saying this will not be an issue, Players would not be able to enter it because they wont have an invite for that particular Match..

Maxxxx has played 2 rounds of the major. He is not near the top 4. I think it it is pretty likely though that he might be top 4 after we all shoot 77 in the second round... if he wants to play his third round soon he can. When he tees off on his third round then we still have no idea of his rank after two rounds. This problem will just get worse as the number of players increases. As english is not my first language these things can get difficult to explain. Hope you get my point.

Nick we are Talking World Ranking not Tournament Ranking... does that make sense you need to look at the standings to get that information on the site.. Let me know if you can find it...

That was my initial suggestion...Sorry. You're not going crazy. Haha. But I added that it would be hard to do based on the fact that not everyone will be finishing their first two rounds at the same time. Like you said as well. I think ranking is the best way to do it for now.
