I think this is great, and will also give some of the newcomers a chance to compete for points against each other. Here's hoping that some of the better known wagering games (Las Vegas, Bingo-Bango-Bongo) could be played if guys are able to log on at the same time. Sounds like a fun time either way!

Guys This is what Hoganwoods Posted, things to consider:

I've been working on the Ryder Cup portion of the site for a while and while its not ready to be released, I have a few comments:

Teams: GC2 vs Protee? USA vs World? East vs West? Captain Picks?
Sessions: How many Rounds of matches? 4 like the rydercup? 5 like the presidents cup?
formats: probably limited to foursome and singles here i guess?

For the site itself, everything will be automatic like it is now and all scores will be live and up to date with custom leaderboard for the rydercup. Special access will be granted to both captains where they can login and set the day's matches like real captains do. Basically you can talk with your team as a captain and set your pairings on the system the night before each set of matches and they wont be revealed until both captains have set their pairings. Of course if we dont want to do it that way or if the captains want to set a matchup they can just talk it out.

The site will not use any handicaps so it will be up to the captains to make the teams as desired. You can make super strong teams or balance them out.

Maybe the first step is to see how many would play and then figure out teams?
