Hey guys, I can usually hit my driver , long and mid irons pretty straight (open or closed about 4 degrees ) most of the time. For some reason my short irons can go off by 20 degrees both ways ! In real golf , I am more accurate with my short irons (like they should be) than the longer clubs.
Does anyone have the same situation and are you changing your grip,stance, setup or ball position to get straighter short iron results ?

I had the same problem Max. I taped all of my wedges and it definitely helped. I still have some large degree open type shots on pitch shots, but I think that's because I naturally open the face up on my pitch shots in real life. It definitely helped on the 70 - 100 yard shots though. I still struggle with distances being kind of erratic on here for some reason on short pitches and chips. I think that might be more of just a little quirk in the hardware when it comes to reading speeds on pitch shots.

Guys just remember the cleaner you pick on those short ones the less chance of the Turf opening or closing your face... Even though your ball is going straight the sensors don't know that. it is just reading face open or close...

At this rate my top10 finnish last week (10th place and second last) might actually be my best ever when we look back on things a year from now. LOL. The same goes for all of us. The going will get tough with 50 players taking part every week.

I believe Kurt responded to you or one of your colleagues about this. The way I understand it is that each hole has 3 pin locations that are selected randomly. The improvement suggested was to be able to fix the pin locations and that one has floated right to the top of the list so I am sure you will see that one soon.

I got that e-mail too. Guess we all did. I didn't find a place to download the non-beta optishot2. Clicked on the link but there was no link to download... Booted up the optishot betasoftware and I'm still on 3.0.0.3147. Was there no update from the beta?

Edit: It's there now. Was not a few hours ago when I got the e-mail. Guess they sent the e-mail before the page was actually up and running... LOL

When I click on the download optishot2 on the email it brings me to the "download " page but there is nothing to click on ? I have the same version as Auri ?
