Funny Mike I went to the White Tape as well for the whole Iron, it broadcasted it on my practice round with Thomas (Sadness) hehe.. After doing that calibrate it too....

Thanks Mike , I'll try anything at this point !! My short irons are sometimes 18 deg closed a nd tbey are my most accurate clubs in real life. I have been twisting my forearms, using black tape to hide the face, trying to place the ball for forward or more back and aying with the offsets and calibrating😂so i went to an indoor dome two days ago just to meke sure i'm not crazy and my short irons are pretty straight like I thought. I will try the wbite tape lime you guys.......thank god I can chip well and save alot of pars for now .

Tape the whole bottom with White Duct Tape then Calibrate....

Also want to point out to get white vinyl duct tape, don't get the real duct tape. That stuff is way too sticky and leaves resin. So it's important to note to get vinyl tape. It peels off very easy without any residue.

When you guys get a misread do you notice it straight away as a small lag before the ball sets off... For me it's as if optishot thinks for a second and the ball flies way too short. I'm pretty steady 200-208 kph with the driver but every time I have the lag it's always something ridiculous like 135 or 150. Just wondering if you guys are seeing the same pattern with the lag and misreads?

With the lag i wonder if we give the optishot process a higher priority - it might be that it gets starved of CPU momentarily?

Yeah, my doesn't lag like you stated. Could be your RAM or processor or something else. I would say minimum 4GB RAM and a decent processor. Don't ever get a Intel Celeron. They are cheaper but aren't meant for gaming.

My misreads didn't lag, but my misreads consisted of my iron shots with extreme open and closed face angles. After I taped my irons I now am on the 2nd round with no misreads with my irons. Made a big difference!

I have a serious PC. Should not be a problem. I have taped clubs. The problem is not a face closed or face open problem... it's rather a 30% of distance missing. It's especially annoying with say a 7 iron. 160 out and comes up 50 short. That's a pretty tough up and down for anyone.

What I'm getting at is what happens here at 52:30. http://www.twitch.tv/aurincoynen_live/b/601736160 Rip a driver as hard as I can.... 139kph... 2nd shot I rip a spoon as hard as I can 200 and something... This happens every now and then with all clubs... and it's clearly visible straight after the shot. There is a noticable lag and then the ball sets off and flyies way short of what it should have. Cluhead speed is always about -30% of what it should be.... I guess I'm alone with this bug then.... Really annoying.

Hey Aurin, I would ask Jonathan at DD to see if anyone else has your problem ? I sometimes get a slower than normal read on my longer irons ( like a ripped 5 iron shows SW clubhead speen of 71mph and loses 50 yards) This was happening rarely and didnt happen during my first round with taped clubs. Is your usb line longer than 15 feet ? Does it happen during practice when you are not twitching ? Are you set on the highest quality video and have your anti-alaising disabled ? Maybe try a round using yards and feet ? Good luck

Changed USB to short lead. Happened 5 times in one round. Not fun. Gona email DD for clues.

I would do that. Just a shot in the dark.... Thomas uses meters as well ? Maybe trying to play a round with yards ? Could be a bug ?
