Is there are way to take mulligans for misreads on drives, I had one last night on round one over 300 yds , total misread, tried to mulligan it and hit over , wouldn't let me. Anything over 270 without a huge downhill roll I consider a misread for me...

Guys Every Player should make the attempt to get their distances to reality for game play, please read following Post and do the best you can with it..

I would propose that we ask everyone do their best to tweak their settings to real world results. I spent over an hour this morning re-calibrating and verifying settings. On the range, all of my clubs are extremely close to my real world results. I then went and played 9 holes at Warwick using Round 1 environment settings. For the most part, my results were very much "real world" distances. I did find that the wind affects distance more than what I would have expected.

I fully understand the hard part will be the "monitoring". That is just something we will have to deal with on a case by case basis.

I thinks Brad has made a good suggestion here without even trying.... As players we should take the time to do this for the best interest of the Sport, The Board will discuss the language that needs to be in the Guidelines...

I will do this as well to get speed and distance to my real swing before next round...

By the way, bunkers are the one part of Optishot I hate. I don't believe the bunker play is remotely close to the real world. Guess the best option is not to hit into them!

Thanks bud, played well but missed a few short ones on the front nine ! I also lower my driver distance from 97 to 92 % and my 3wood and 5 wood from 100 to 95%. I would say I lost about 10 or 15 yards . The wind really affects the ball too much though. I will post later a d upload the video. Cheers

Wind Has huge effect it seems.. but I know in real golf it does as well

I set them to demanding when i play offline and find they play a bit more real like a soft sand bunker, have to hit them with "splash" force to get it out. On easy or moderate just cant get to grips with them

Nice to see ya playing at pretty true to life distance on ya driver too, 102 SS, 260 yards, ratio of 2.55

Just watched video more closely. Its was actually pretty real, sort of. Just was hitting the wall in front of you. I think even the highest angle wont allow a true flop shot so as you did in the end only way is to come out sideways. Wouldn't say it was a bunker issue, more a launch angle issue
