I take it invites will just be sent on due course. If you could put me of a handicap for this one that'd be great

        Looking forward to it.

Just played Warwich under round 3 conditions with putter set to 80% speed. What a difference. For me personally its just so much more real. Ive got a 10ft hole setup in my enclosure and when putting up to it with my usual and putter and balls I was dropping near enough hole high and on optishot was going 2 ft past (i aimed left of hole to check distance) and i wouldnt say my pttuing matt was really an equivalent to medium pace green. Hopefully youll decide to allow down to 80% as for me I find it more realistic

Other thing to note was that I did find with bunkers set to easy they had nearly no effect on distance really and didnt really provide any punishment what so ever. In fact if i played out with my usual bunker stroke would shoot far further than I would expect. To be fair i usually play with them on demanding though as want a real punishment for landing in them

I went round in 74 and played pretty well to be fair so if you wanna adjust my H/C down as a result as dont want to be a bandit as think will prob shoot around mid to high 70s on this one at worst if I play OK.

Apologies for perhaps posting in wrong thread, Covered lots of them in one post

Will give it a check later on this afternoon. As I previously mentioned I do use a soft face putter so that may give different results to others as like to give my putts a bit of weight but as you said in other post was now possible to get 1mph and 2mph swings for stuff under 8 feet which was a vast improvement. Ill have a go in a while and post how I get on

I try and get distance readings for swing speeds from 1-7mph at both 80% and 100% at all the various green speeds and see what the differences are. Ive only got a max 10ft putt in my enclosure and so will compare those but as I say its hard to say what "green speed" my mat is but would guess its medium but hopefully results will show any differences. Will do them on flat putts so to give as true a readout as I can

I think a lot of it is all just what yours used too, so is quite subjective, and as Ive never played lightning fast greens its hard for me to say what they should be like. Ultimately I would say most people who are decent enough golfers should be able to make 30-36 putts a round.

                    Will post up later on

I just did a Test on Flat to slight slope Green at 30, 60 and 90 ft, at 80 % Putter Speed and didn't see any issue at all, as a matter of fact in some cases seemed more true then at 100%..

I would encourage all players to do some testing on this and let us know what you think... Testing the Putter at 80% this will help us achieve slower putting swings for fast greens.. and Sloped Greens..

Invites will be going out Today for this Event, Please do not Start until Tomorrow.... Handicaps will be established tonight upon closing this event and creating new event. Handicaps will be based on Auto Calculate using Ranges -10 to +15, If lowest Player is -6 that player will be adjusted to 0 and all other players will have 6 strokes added to there handicap.. New players with less than 4 rounds will determine by me, based on averages and compared with other players with similar Averages....

                        Thanks,

                        and Good Luck

Doesn't the procedure thread state putter must remain at 100%. Is this changing now too?
