New Stat Feature for Season 2015

Gentlemen,

Lets get into the habit of using the New Stat options that Hoganwoods Designed for us...

PPR - This is the Total # of Putts that are actually on the Green.. Do not count Putts from Rough /FW/Fringe

3PR - Count only Putts on the Green that takes 3 to get into Hole.. Do not count putts from Rough/FW/Fringe

SRB - Scrambling % Holes where you got up and down to save Par/birdie from anywhere other than Green. If you do not make Par Birdie then enter No, if you do Enter Yes

GIR - Greens in Regulations Any Holes where you Reached the Green in Regulations.., this does not include Fringe. If you Land on Green in Regulation select Yes, if not select No

SS - Sand Saves - Shot's from greenside Bunkers where you save Birdie/Par. If you make a shot out of Greenside Bunker and do not Save Par then enter No, if you do save Par then enter Yes..

Is 3pr for 3 putts only or 3 or more putts. have been guilty of the odd 4 putt in my time lol. Have even had 2 putts, knocked the 3rd off the green and had 2 more once ive got back on the infamous 9!!

Remember the Stats are only as good as to the accuracy we put into them, please use the above guideline when entering your stats..

My understanding of Scramble and Sand Save Stats


For Par 4 not on the green

1st Shot - Tee Shot,
2nd Shot - GIR Shot,
3rd Shot - GIR+1 Shot
4th Shot - GIR +2 Shot

For Par 5 not on the green

1st Shot - Tee Shot,
2nd Shot - GIR-1 Shot
3rd Shot - GIR Shot,
4th Shot - GIR+1 Shot
5th Shot - GIR +2 Shot




For a Scramble

You have to miss GIR and land your GIR Shot off the green. Your GIR+1 shot from anywhere has to go onto the green - that is a scramble chance. If GIR +1 shot is not on the green then leave it blank

If your GIR+1 shot lands on the green, then make your putt its a scamble yes, if you miss its a scramble no.

For a Sand Save

You have to miss GIR and land your GIR Shot in a bunker. Your GIR+1 shot from the bunker has to go onto the green - that is a Sand Save chance. If GIR +1 shot is not on the green then leave it blank

If your GIR+1 shot lands on the green, then make your putt its a Sand Save yes, if you miss its a Sand Save no.

Putts

Once on the green any subsequent stroke counts as a putt, so even if you putt, it goes off the green and then chip and then putt again this counts as 3 putts.

Also until actually being on the green you have not taken any putts, even if putting from the foregreen or the fringe. It is putts on the green only. So if you miss GIR, but then putt in from the fringe for birdie, it would be GIR NO, Scramble YES, Putts 0





The only time it would be different would be if you did miss the green with your GIR+1 shot, but then holed your GIR+2 shot, thus saving par. however this would be a rarity but would technically be a Sand Save or Scramble depending on where the GIR+2 shot was played from. I would say this wont happen many times if you're like me however lol, have done it once though.

Im not sure on Par 5s if you landed your GIR-1 shot in the bunker but then made par whether that would be a sand save. personally I don't think it is, as it wasn't the bunker shot that made the save, as you still hit GIR, and shouldnt have any scramble or sand save data if you hit GIR.
