I didn't think rough was on Very Demanding yesterday when I played round 1. I took a couple extra clubs when I was in the rough the first time, which is what I normally do, and sailed the green by 50 yards. Then, the next time I was in the rough, I took my regular club for that distance and it went the normal distance. I was really confused.

Round 1 complete.. Had a snow storm here during round and caused major issue with my signal coverage on Iphone (hotspot) so was unable to stream, or play for around 10 mins as game wouldn't seem to work properly without a connection.
Threw me a bit I must say but relatively happy other than the top with the 1 iron which went 270 yards out of bounds... Hate the way optishot does that!!
Anyway not too bad.
Fully agree that the rough setting isn't right, although is very demanding when in heavy rough, kills your shots completely I found, but normal rough seemed to play as easy as light rough,so pretty much as fairway.
Also. has anyone noticed the Hole Indexes on the scorecard in game dont match the ones on the website scorecard.. (The 4th was Index 1 in game, is 3 on website. Dont think it matters really as gross - handicap is still your score, but will effect stats such as birdies per round etc etc. May also effect future handicapping if ESC scores come into play?
Are the scorecards setup automatically catman or do you have to enter them based on the scored card, and do you take it fromthe real course scorecard or Optishot?

I could be wrong on this, but I believe the birdies per round, ect only counts legitimate birdies and doesn't include "net" birdies.

Cheers pal. The OB on 2 cost me 2 shots really, and putted poorly today, normally down in the mid to high 20s, so probably 3 dropped there too. Not a difficult track at all really. Think I could break 70 if all went well, which would be a big break through for me.
Think your probably right on the stats, as I say not sure will make any real difference.
Just seemed odd that they aren't tallying with scorecard, first time ive noticed it.Last edited by JohnMeyer; 02-05-2015, 01:06 AM.

Round 3 finished.
Facts:
Round 1, Front 9 (-2, 11 putts) Back 9 (+1, 16 putts)
Round 2, Front 9 (-4, 12 putts) Back 9 (+4, 19 putts)
Round 3, Front 9 (-3, 14 putts) Back 9 (+6, 23 putts)
What's up with the putting on back 9!!!
I had 5 putts on 10:th this last round. GIR and still managed to land a triple bogie.
Well...room for improvement at least
I will be away skiing next week. I will be back sunday night and will then try to do the challenge of my live; play all 4 rounds of next weeks Major in 4-5 houres before it closes.
With my timezone I will be playing between 10 in the evening and 3 in the morning. It will be interesting...Last edited by Racerman; 02-06-2015, 05:26 PM.

I don't know how you guys play so well in the wind, third tournament in a row that I suck in the wind. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that the wind is going to overcome 3" of break on a 4 foot downhill putt and go straight ,I need a pyschiatrist....... or a bunch of beer......
I find the wind's effect on the ball in the air to be very inconsistent , adds a club / subtracts a club, same wind direction working against the ball, or maybe it's a Canadian thing ...12 KPH isn't that much wind , oh wait that's MILES per hour ...doh !!Last edited by Duper37; 02-07-2015, 01:00 AM.
