Eagle's Pebble Beach Classic February 9th 1st Major of 2015

Best I think Ive played, especially with the putter. Still the obligatory annoying 3 putt, but got myself out of jail too many times to complain. Gutted didn't sink the eagle from 70 yards at the end looked in all the way to the flag

Strange readings off the driver tonight, lots of under speed reads which was odd, although did pull my arm smashing a 1 iron on 9 so will put it down to that

Some low scores out there, wind not really having much effect at all. Just need that feather touch on the greens, and more accuracy than I've got with the longer irons and there's a real low one out there

Delighted none the less, although shame my 1st ever true under par round and Im now a -1 Hcap for the next event

Well played John. I watched your back 9. Your short game was great, you nearly holed a couple of chip shots. The 3rd shot on the last could just as easily gone in !

I was scrambling well to hold pars. Then got a 18' putt 10" above the hole, just touched the ball & gravity did the rest, ended up 28' past !
Hooked my 5 wood off the 17th into the ocean ! Landed my 3rd shot 5' from the flag on 18. Turned round to get my putter & the ball had run 18' downhill ! Luckily I holed the putt.
I don't think the pin was in the same location on the green as yours, mine seemed further back. Are the pins in different locations for different groups ?

this is something Optishot is working on, being able to set pins, right now the software is random, but is all we got.., Good Round btw despite your set backs...
