OptiShotTour Challenge

The challenge is going this week. According to the OptiShot Facebook page:

This weekend, the #OptiShotTour Challenge heads to Thailand! The Black Mountain Golf Club is one of the most prestigious clubs in Asia. The course is both challenging and playable, which is why it was a stop on the European Tour just a few weeks ago! Who is ready to play "Black Mountain?"

Need to come up with something to make use of this. I don't think a tour event is the answer, need a fun "game" we could play that we could just use this course for, sort of a sideline game for those who finish/not entering tour event.

Perhaps a stableford event, but score is total points as per Optishot scorecard + handicap,

I like the idea of a Stableford event.

Another idea that might be fun/unique is something we do at my local club. We have Mens Night Out on Tuesdays and do a fun little scramble---but about once a year we play from the ladies tees. It's fun trying to drive lots of greens and see how low we can go. It might be fun if we did a small, quick even on an easy course from the front tees sometime.

TB, can we do a scramble or shamble with Optishot? I'm pretty new to this, but that would be a lot of fun especially from the women's tees and trying to drive greens. Could do a couple ctp holes as well to personalize it a bit. No prize, just recognition on here with their distance.

I don't think we could do a scramble very easily. Although if we played "offline" but did a Google Hangout you could just place the ball close to the location of the best ball and everyone hit each shot from there.

I always like to have a skins game on Saturday. We ususlly play at 1mst. But would be up for one in the morning asap around 10mst. Or could play s scramble also. 2 against 2. Or stablford. Why not select a time and meet in the forum at a specific time.

Yeah, that's my golf time as well...

Would be nice if Optishot added a scramble format option in a future version, but we could certainly do a Google hangout to help facilitate a scramble today, but how in Optishot do you place your ball close to the location of the best ball?

I know it can be done in Practice mode on a course. I'm not sure if you just set up a game if you can move your ball or not.
