And two. Yes Some might benifit from the long ball hitter but then it also doesn't have to come down to the putter either. And I'm getting tired of hitting driver and wedge into almost every green. Should be using all clubs.

we always keep comparing to real golf and the pro golfers of the pga then I feel our pro tour should follow thst also. I don't see the pros hitting from middle tees.

Just my 2 cents if it's worth anything
I think we should play from reds, and get mulligans

Jason, come back to reality, we are all amateurs I don't see you on the PGA Tour.. Most Tournaments for amateurs are played from the Tees in front of Championship Tees.. The fact that you have a 135 MPH swing speed is not the norm, and too put tees over 7000 yards players will be hitting Driver 3wood on most par 4s,,, not fair for the field with you hitting 8 Iron to green..

If I am doing the conditions, we WILL NOT play every round from the back tees. For most of the players out here it isn't fair. As you said Jason, we do keep comparing it to real golf and want it to be real golf. That means for the vast majority of the players the back tees are too much!

I don't consider myself a long hitter by any means. I probably average 245/250yds. I actually reduce my distance % to achieve this. It would be interesting to know what the average driving distance is for players. I very rarely reach par 5's in 2 shots & hence rarely score eagles. Some players seem to be averaging nearly 4 on the par 5's which must be an advantage for the longer hitters. Personally I think the back tees take away that advantage on the par 5's. Also makes shooting par a good score off back tees. Just my opinion. I must admit that in to a strong wind on some holes it can be a struggle to reach the fairway off back tees !

IMHO, there isn't 1 player that could play the tips on any of these courses and shoot under 80. You need to be at + to 3 or 4 cap to even come close. Let's try to keep this somewhat realistic. If not we all should just get controllers and load up TW13 on the PS4.

The only reason I would like to see the Pro guys play from the tips is because we aren't shooting realistic scores. There is no way any of us are shooting realistic scores. I don't even have a problem with the pro guys and cap tour guys playing from different tees in the same cap tournament. The pro tour caps will likely drop anyway.

So now we're getting back to a point I made when the pro tour was starting.............

Pro Tour - Play from the Tips, seperate tourney completley
Cap Tour - Play from the middle tee's - different tourney

If you want to play both tournaments................play 6 rounds. Or choose which tourney you want to play in.

Me personally, I won't play the pro tour (or post a score - plus I'm not playing well in opti world right now), I have committed to the cap tour and that's what I choose to support. If I get to the point where I can't compete at that level and want to compete at a higher level without a cap, then move to the pro tour.
