    Kinda disappointed

I realize Opti is closer to a game than a simulator since it just uses club path sensors instead of ball flight.

Evidently Optishot uses the OLD ball flight rules and not the new.

I was fooling around with stuff the other day and had a "On Plane" with the club and 10° open club face.
It showed the ball going directly down target line until it started to curve.
With 10° open, it should have started towards the open club face.

Oh well, it's still kinda fun and is somewhat informative.

I had an optishot ca 10 years ago. As you say it is just a game and has nothing to do with real golf.

If I had an extra 3K, I would. So far, I'd be happy with it if the physics were right.

Though you can't find them anywhere right now because of the demand, the R10 is basically the same price.

Yeah, I kinda studied them, but not extensively. It seems as if you need a constant network connection with them, but I can't find the answer anywhere. Also the computer and space constraints are/would be tough at this time.

I still might look into them if and when they become available.

Edit:Of course, they'll realize they can charge more and the price will increase.

        Thanks
