    My Current Garage Setup

Here is what I am currently up and running with as my Optishot garage setup:

Projector - Vivitek Short Throw Projector w/ Pyle Ceiling Mount
Screen - Drop Cloth from Home Depot (doubled up)
Hitting Mat - Foam Insulation/Foam Workout Tiles/Maxfli 3x5 Hitting Mat

    Looking to add/upgrade:

Impact Screen - Likely going to go with the PR20 from West Coast Netting
Side Netting - Purchased some netting from a craft store, just need final screen setup before installing
    USB Buttons/Pedals
    Ball Dispenser

Anyone who is currently using the PR20 netting, how far does the screen deflect back when it is hit by a ball? My ideal setup would be a screen on the back of my garage door that just goes up and down with the door, however, I am curious how far off of the garage door i will need to be so I will not put dents/holes in it.

Thanks for looking. Hope to add some updates in the next couple weeks.

Your deflection is going to be determined by how tight you are mounted on the sides and top. I use pr20 and i would say that it's mounted pretty loosely(just enough to get the waves/wrinkles out) and it deflects probably a foot or so. I didn't have anything to mount to on one side so i filled a 2.5gal bucket with concrete and set a piece of angle iron in it to mount it.

I also use PR20 and while I think it s a great net/screen, I would have purchased a regular white impact screen for the image quality. I imagine you are going to spend around $250 anyway. The picture bleed through is enough to reduce image quality. I still think it looks good, it just could be better.

Hi AMac, I love the way your set up looks. What are the sizes you are working with here ? I would like to do just what you have here, but don't know what sizes are needed. How close are you to your screen ? Grateful for any advice.
