I build mine in Germany, ordered the cage and hitting surface from the US. Was with shipping and tax still cheaper then buying it in the EU. I'm not 100% done with it yet but I already played a few rounds on it. A few cosmetics I still have to take care of. Here a pic:

That looks really good, what were the dimensions of your room

It's a weird room, the beams running along side gave me some problems in the beginning. The cage is 10' x 10' and would have been 10' high as well but there are 2 6x4 beams in the way. You can see them on the corner of the screen. For that reason I had to adapt the cage to 8' height. The good thing was that the beams are 10' outside to outside so I was able to mount the cage to them. On the hitting side I took the top cross brace out and tight the net to about 12-14 feet so I can swing my driver without any issue. Because it's only 10' wide I can not hit the driver to 6 iron standing in the center of the screen. It doesn't bother me at all. I just marked a line on my mat using a thick paint marker. This helps me setting up parallel to my skytrak and not aiming at the center of the screen. Like I said, no problem at all.

Oh sorry dimensions of room hahaha it's 15 feet long, 15 feet wide on the floor, at 8 feet of height it's 9 feet between the beams and probably goes up to about 16 feet height in the center.

                      Looks awesome Brett !
Now comes the questions. What size of garage are we talking about here ? I am planning to put one in my garage which is 10.5 feet wide by 14.5 feet long, with 9 foot ceiling. Never considered a bar since I didn't think I would have enough room, but looking at yours, please tell me I have enough room with the bar.... How far are you standing away from the screen? and how big is the screen ? What sort of projector are you using ? I could extend the garage out to 20 feet by removing a wall, but then the place where I was thinking of putting up the screen would only be 7 feet wide, due to the weird shape of the house. Well, not weird, but I guess they didn't take into account that I would want a golf simulator in the garage, can't imagine why !

Hit some full shots today up to the hydrid all good and no tape needed on the irons which is a result
And got to say the bar works flawlessly lol
                          Cheers

                            hi
my garage is 3.5mts wide and about 5mts long
my ceiling height is just under 9ft but I swing quite flat some of the guys have tapped the rafters swinging steep but no real issues so far
the screen is set up if I stand on my tee pad hold the driver in my left hand and extend my arm towards the screen the club head is 2 or more feet away from the screen
the bar was my sons idea and I works well ..too well in fact lol there are bar stools behind there so you can sit and watch the guys having a hit
don't get me wrong its tight 3 guys is comfortable out there as for the projector its a short throw non HD one and works perfect mine is low level at the moment
I also have the other wall timbered now with I pad on wall with GSA swing app running as well as the sim which is perfect for me
                            have fun building the den
                            send some pictures
                            cheers
                            Brett
