  • When to use Tees

I have a question for other users out there. When your playing a game, do you only use the Tee on the first tee shot and the rest of the time with the tee removed, or do you leave the tee in for the whole game? Also, do you only use the Optishot tees, or do you use alternatives?

I've been playing like a real course and using the tee only on tee shots, but I was wondering what other people thought?

I personally use a tee just on the 1st shot each hole. I then hit off the mat the rest of the hole. I also made my own tees out of cardboard so I can place the ball in front of the tee hole so I'm not as close to the back sensors for fat shots. I also place the ball on the mat slightly ahead of tee hole.

Thanks. Given how the tees are designed with the little ball on the end, I was wondering if people just left them in the simulator or if they used something different. I didn't like the idea of putting the ball in the tee hole. I've decided I like the long 3.5" plastic tees for the driver shots and a little hole filler tee for all the other shots worked OK for me.

I was using regular wooden tees that I cut down and used in the rubber hole but have since went away from that. There are also some other unconventional tees that have been brought up. Do a search and you'll probably find then.
