    Optishot has really helped me

I've been enjoying the Optishot 2 for a few weeks now and i'm not sure if it was pure coincidence but I played one of my best rounds ever (gross 3-under 69) on my home course yesterday.

Huge huge help was that Optishot made it crystal clear that my club face was consistently open by an average of 3 degrees with an in\out path. It wasn't funny how in my first 15 minutes or so with the Optishot, I couldn't hit it to register a Square and Straight result. I worked on it everyday until I was registering shots that were consistently Square and Straight.

I'm a 3-handicapper and I've only broken 70 three other times in the last 8 years, the last of which happened 6 months ago. We'll see after tomorrow's round if i'll still have this smile plastered on my face.

I'll be taking delivery of a Skytrak in a few days but I already know that the Optishot will be a permanent fixture in my golf simulator room

That's awesome to hear! Yea the skytrak has worked wonders for my game, you'll love it. And with the optishot you can still get the club data. So using them both combined may be fantastic for both types of data. If you do do that, let us all know how it works out

Yes, that's the plan. Combine the Optishot 2 with the Skytrak since I find club data equally as important as ball data. I just wish I had learned of the Optishot a lot earlier.

If this combo proves to be as good as i hope it'll be, a GC2+HMT upgrade is a good possibility ... at least 3 years from now

Just wish there was someway to combine the data obtained from the Skytrak and Optishot and use that on TGC! That would be the best!

To be honest, I was expecting the Optishot to be not as good as it has turned out to be and i'm pleasantly surprised to find the Optishot 2 reflect data that's quite accurate with what i get in real life. I brought it to the range a few nights ago and it was real cool watching the tracers mimic what we were seeing in terms of ball flight. This makes me think maybe a good tie-up would be Optishot and TGC

The Optishot interface is pretty fantastic but the graphics of TGC are frickin brilliant. I agree do find that having Skytrak and Optishot have helped my real world game substantially. Both have their strong points for certain.
