How soon until version 3 comes out? Opitshot wouldn't let me know, they said they are working on making the program better and better. I am think soon because of the sudden price drop?

I emailed them with the same question probably a month ago and the rep pretty much told me not to hold my breath. I hope they do since I'm looking to buy one. -
Why the big price drop? My guess is to get rid of all the units laying around so they will have room for the new units but who knows. My unit is new in the box still, I got in 2 or 3 weeks ago.Comment

Yes and no. I don't want to open mine and set it up until I finish my room, buy my screen, buy the golf mat... I'm hoping by end of January.Comment

The only difference between the Optishot 1 and 2 was software. The hardware remained the same. All of those that had the 1 where allowed to upgrade to the new software free of charge and all purchased courses carried over as well. If it was me I would at least register it so if there is some sort of update software wise you may get the upgrade on the house.Comment
