I bought a used P3proswing from a forum member for my son a few weeks ago. As it turns out the Protee sensor; I also bought from from a forum member, has developed an issue with one of the sensors in the exit row. As usual, great Protee support in helping me get the issue identified and on the way to being resolved.
In the mean time, I had a chance to take many swings on the P3pro set up. Taping the clubs is a pain, but once that is completed the data is quite good. Ball strike location is certainly among the most important parameters. We took some data and the strike point was within about 4 mm when compared to that measured on the club face with foot powder spray on it. The horizontal numbers were closer than the vertical.
The vertical launch camera was fairly easy to setup and calibrate, that is measured versus reported. Once calibrated, it was right on and we had no issues with club reflections. It also used an inexpensive web cam. Club path and face looked good and compared well with that calculated from ball strikes on the screen.
Not bad for a product that seems to receive a lot of negative reviews.
