Using gc2 to dial in Protee

Has anyone used a protee and a gc2 at the same time to dial in Protee settings? I'm assuming it is possible to use fr1 or app with the gc2 and protee with tgc at the same time. I was mostly curious if the gc2 flash messes with the protee camera.

The GC2 flash will show white blobs on the vertical camera images.
