Got myself a Oculus Rift setup for a flight simulator and to play The Golf Club in VR and was really surprised to find a Pro Tee simulator inside the game. Had to buy a new Video Card because the old one wasn't big enough, then a new Case because the New Video Card was to big for the old case, finally got it all hooked up and running so thought I would give it a try on The Golf Club VR wound up at the end of the deal when I found the Pro Tee Simulator, will give it a try next go round, the Oculus Rift needs a controller that handles like a golf club I ordered a spare controller to see what I can come up with, at lest the grandsons and I are having fun.

I have TGC VR with Oculus Rift. IMO It is way better no golf in the winter however I felt the "swing" and "touch" were lacking enough realism to benefit a real golf game.
Ideal would be hitting real golf balls and projecting real ball data into a VR space. Someday....

I agree, it does needs some work on the swing but it is better than nothing. I got the unit for the flight simulators as I said but thought it was a fun touch putting the Pro Tee system in side The Golf Club. I am going to play with trying to make a touch device more like a golf grip, playing with some ideas and got an extra touch just to work with.

TGC VR is lots of fun. It will not benefit your real golf game. It's a game. Try the ProTee simulator in VR. It's a simulator inside a simulator, so you hit balls against the virtual screen in virtual reality showing a TGC course, your ball drops and the projection in VR will take over
