ProTee Flooring & Stance/Putting Mats?

All,

I'm in process of my ProTee Build. I have purchased the used ProTee Sensor, and I am now wondering about the various ways to setup flooring for my shed build (currently a bare concrete floor). Should I drop in a plywood subfloor to start, and then locate a mat (with 2.5"-2.75" thickness) that I can cut out an area to place the ProTee Sensor into? Or should I build up my subflooring, and cut a hole in that to drop the sensor down into, and purchase a stance mat that will meet up with the sensor at just the right height?

I'm looking for pics that would show various ways it was done, and possibly links to where you bought your mats at, in case there are any Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals coming up, so I can get everything purchased and start working on the flooring build. If you have a ProTee can you let me know how you placed your sensor into the SubFLoor, or Mat, and which type of subfloor/mat you used to build it out 'just right'?

I went back into my google photos to try and find pictures of my various build stages to give you some ideas. Here is how I progressed:

I cleaned it up and painted the floor.



Then I bought a ProTee system and setup an enclosure system. I alway had trouble with the stance mat moving around, etc. That's when I started thinking about a subfloor.


Here is the subfloor with the protess mat cut into it. Sorry I just never took a photo of the subfloor being built. But 3/4" plywood + 2x4 on side + 5/8" turf = 2 3//4" height of protee sensor.



Here is current view with ProTee pulled out and Uneekor installed. The hitting mat is a little higher than the subfloor. I'm playing around with some gel inserts and trying to get it just right.

Awesome as usual Gene, thanks for the pics... How many 2x4's on their side did you drop in, 1 every 16", or less than that? I may consider it, but feel that may be a little higher than I want to go, but I don't think I have a choice, as it has to be exactly as high as the ProTee sensor.

What did you use for your turf, I think I saw somewhere you said 'Symlawn' (HomeDepot)?

No, I purchased the Synlawn product from their local distributor. I overbuilt on the 2 x 4's and spaced them 12" apart...and before I nailed the plywood down, I stuffed insulation through out. I wanted a rock solid floor with no "give" or no creeking sound, etc. It came out like I wanted, but I am not a floor expert and I probably way overdid it.
