  • Pro Tee in Hudson Valley, New York

    Hello All

I have been lurking/asking questions in the golf forums from Ottawa to Pro Tee to here (now) for the last two years and I am now ready to pull the trigger. I have built a new house with a 10 foot basement specifically for a golf sim. Although the only golf sims I have hit are aboutGolf, Dead Solid and Sports Coach,I believe Pro Tee is for me even without hitting it. Below is what I want it in my sim:
    1) Price - I can afford the Pro Tee but not the aG or Sports Coach
    2) Playability - I want to:
    - host league play and store player data
    - play on-line with e6 with simultaneous play and tournys
    - lefty / righty play
    - with TGC integration I can design my own course
    - durability and longevity
    3) Updates and support. It seems to me that Pro Tee has the most support both corporate and with bubba and Zmax (et al) on the forums.

That said, unless someone convinces me otherwise, I will be in the Pro Tee community in the next few months.

My question is this though... Should I buy straight from Pro Tee or go to Cory at Par to Pro? They are the same price but Cory throws in an impact screen. It seems like a no brainer, but I want to make sure I am not missing anything by NOT buying direct and I don't want to put Cory in an awkward situation.

    Feedback will be most appreciated!

Welcome Cavs. Either is fine. Check this deal out from ProTee https://swingsense.com/en/store/golf...c-2015-details

If you go with the pack Bubba linked I would add the H-cam in, too. The putting sensor isn't completely necessary, but there's a noticeable difference if the H-cam isn't installed.

WOW I did not expect the Protee TGC 2015 until Autumn! What would be the Minimum requirement for space for the camera setup be it both or one camera? I have been looking at both ProTee and Skytrak but without minimum requirements I'm not sure if I have the room for ProTee. I like the option of having both ball and club data at an affordable price. Also does ProTee require and impact screen or will it still work on my Net Return? I would be looking to upgrade from an Optishot

Perhaps Protee sensor will integrate with Skytrak and TGC. That will allow for both club and ball data.

That would be awesome Bubba22....Having a system like ProTee with club data working with an accurate ball data device is the perfect storm! Until then...Loving my ProTee and TGC!

Cavs...congratulations! I did the same thing you are doing. I put an addition onto my house with a room built specifically for a Sim. My room is 14ft 5in wide by 21ft long. 10ft ceilings. After lots of research I went with the ProTee and have never looked back. Bought mine from Corey and he was great to work with.
I liked the ProTee over the GC2 at the time because I have several left handed players and didn't want to deal with switching the GC2 unit back and forth. I built a subfloor and embedded the ProTee hitting sensor and putting sensor right into the floor. ProTee adding The Golf Club has made it that much better! Kuddos to all those that have come before me and were so helpful throughout the process (Bubba, Zmax, and many more!)

My biggest issue is not having time to play it enough

Thanks for the feedback everyone. My house is a modular with a 10 foot basement. The modular is being set tomorrow! I will buy my sim as soon as I sell my current house.
