Bubs, when you have issues with hybrid ap or irons, were those shots low like topped or thinned?

I just noticed that when changing the drag and ball speed settings using the interface, it doesn't seem to show up in the settings file. So I change the drag on a club to 95 but the setting file still shows 100. But it seems to be reading at the changed setting. When I reboot, the interface still shows 95 and the settings file (accessed using alt-e to make sure it's the correct one) still shows 100. I keep thinking that I must be opening the wrong settings file but I don't think so (time stamps, other changes going through). Anyone else seen this?

Did you start the interface by "run as administrator?

no they were sweet spot hits. I am going to work with the cams again tomorrow. I hope to figure out the hybrid and iron reading 45 degree launch. This seems to be the number it always has. Is it possible its the club at that level?

The interface starts up automatically on boot up. Will need to open the batch file next time I'm on the computer to see if there is an administrator setting in there, but I doubt it. Odd since some setting get shown but not these. But the interface shows the settings the way they are supposed to be and the modified settings impact the ball correctly

The PT5 vcam method for me did not work well for wedges (couldn't pick up chips regardless of how I angled the camera) or irons (picked up the club too often, sending a banana balloon to the moon with a 5 iron). So I switched the vcam reading back to PT1 for irons and wedges, but left the PT5 for driver (which picked up a much longer, thus easier to detect, ball streak); you might want to try that to see if it makes a difference

I have this issue all the time with my 3 hybrid, and my irons. It is frustrating as I have tweaked the cameras all the time and still get the occasional error. How do you set individual clubs up with different pt-1 or pt-5 settings??

The settings file (with the interface 23 and 24) allows you to set a different method for groups of clubs (driver, irons, wedges, woods)

The vcam must have detected the club instead. Make sure the ball streak is not too faint. For irons, they should be pretty white. Check your gain too. If you change the fps, the gain will go to zero. Just put it back and apply, but don't hit preview again.

I tried the PT1 stuff tonight. And lets just say I am not a fan. Lots of weird shots. lots of misreads. Going back to the PT5. Much more realistic ball flight and fewer misreads.

And don't forget that with PT5, the raster needs to be all the way to the left.

Hey folks. I was checking my h-cam results earlier today and it looks like its having a little trouble reading the middle of the ball streak. What are you guys using for the ball diameter adjustment, mine is at 4 but when I adjusted it either way and reanalysing it it wasn't changing anything. Using PT1

Max_VCam_diameter_correction_ball=4
MaX1_HCam_diameter_correction_ball=4
MaX1_VCam_diameter_correction_ball=0

Thanks bubba. That helped. I found that on the shorter chips and pitches your settings straightened it out perfectly. But then on longer wedge shots it would error to the right too much so I moved the HCam_diameter_correction_ball=7 and
MaX1_HCam_diameter_correction_ball=7

but then on the shorter shots it was too far to the left. So I settled on the setting them at 5 to compromise. Not perfect, but we don't need to have the perfect simulator conversation here! Thanks again.

Cool. I may try 5 as well. We each may need to tweak it a little bit.

Can you have PT5 for VCAM and PT1 for HCAM ? IF so, what do you set raster to?

Yes, and When using pt5 for vcam or hcam, raster must be set at zero or all the way to the left.
