My question is club head speed with the pro tee sensors. I have my club speed set to default and it still seems high to me. I am hitting driver in the 120 range when I hit it well. The only thing I have to compare it to is the golfsmith gc2 when I was trying out some drivers a a year ago or so. I hit 108 when I really got a hold of one on the gc2. I don't feel my swing has gotten better. Is anybody else seeing this?

What do you mean by fixed your lighting? what was wrong with it before you fixed it and we're all your club head speeds off or just your driver? When I swung at goldsmith with all I had and it registered 108 it went 320. On protee when I swing at 120 it goes 320 so maybe it's just a matter of the gc2 estimating it wrong. Faulty, Mind you I am swinging out of my shorts on these, the average 112 tour player is swinging under control. I will pay attention to ball speed next time at golfsmith and compare that. I asked protee if I had a 60 watt vs 75 would it affect it. Haven't heard back on that.

From what ProTee says, the thing that is important is you get a clear shadow on the sensor and the 2nd light isnt overlapping which would cause a weird shadow ayway. It is a clear shadow and the front light isnt overlapping so I will just go with it. cavtrooper, What device measured your actual swing speed? I dont want to sound obcessed about club speed but I do want all the information about my swing to be correct. I am very impressed how accurate the shots are represented on the ProTee, and that comes from a person that hits a lot of bad shots and I get exactly what I deserve.

When I bought my system the reseller sent me a track system with a 75 watt halogen wide angle flood, it was way to bright and would not angle straight down on the sensor pad, i looked at protee's website found what they sent for lights went to homedepot found a halogen that was a pin spot not flood took care of my issue. the bulbs they use are common in the lighting industry for sound and stage lighting, so after research it wasn't hard to find a real close match

I see, yeah the place I got it from sent the same bulb. Maybe we bought from the same place. I went and bought the spot light from Home Depot too and now I get the well defined shadow protee says it is supposed to be. Still getting the vcam perfected, especially flop shots but I am happy with the readings now that the light is correct.

What you are looking for is something with clear white 60-75 watt depending on your ceiling height, mine is 10 1/2 feet and I have 75 watt. You want the angle of light to be ideally 24 degrees and no cool white or warm white, must be clear. A lot of spotlights fall under this category, not flood lights though there are some that do. Like cav said, they use them for accentuating art and things like that. You want a clear shadow when you hover the club over the sensor not a double imposed image.

I think I still have the box from HD I will see and post the # if I can find it. I do remember I bought a 50 Watt 30 deg pin spot that I could angle straight down on my sensor pad. The bulbs spec that protee has on this site are readily available, and you can purchase on line a head unit with a transformer built in for a track system if you want but those will run around 60 usd is what I found. or if you have a Lighting store in town they might have some in stock, they are commonly used in stage lighting or were when I was doing stage lighting and sound in my area
