I have a BenQ HT3050 projector on a 7ft x 9.6ft screen. I can get it to fit the full screen when set at 4:3 for the optishot simulator but I need to move the projector back to get the 16:9 ratio for movies and TV. I was wondering if anyone knew of a movable mount that can go back and forth instead of the standard mount that stays in one place or any viable alternatives. Thanks.

Cant remember on what thread it was but remember a guy posted a bracket setup that he had made on his ceiling so he could move his projector back and forth as needed. Hopefully he see this and chimes in or if anyone else remembers where it was

Hi Ctown
We did what you are inquiring about. We used pocket door track to connect the projector mount to and then the mount would slide forward and backward.

here you go - I have not used it yet, but they included in the deal when I purchased my enclosure from them. Currently using their terrashield. Getting some remodeling done in March of 2017 so might hang the projector then.
