After researching options, I am looking at purchasing the ProTee with TGC from virtual-golf-simulator.com. I wanted to see if there were any recommendations for vendors. I am planning on having them fabricate a custom size hitting bay, projector mount, etc as I don't have time to do all the work myself. They quoted me $8995 for everything which seems pretty reasonable compared to other vendors. I would appreciate any feedback or recommendations. Thanks!

Hey Sam,
I own a ProTee and I did all the assembly and installation myself. If you can tell us exactly what is included in the "hitting bay" we can give you better feedback. Is it going to be enlosed, including impact screen, side panels, flooring, size???? Are you getting a complete ProTee package with 2 cameras and the putting sensor or just the basic pack?....

Gene,
Thanks for the reply. The bay will include an impact screen with side and top panels as well as an upper projector mount (with projector). The size is 9 foot high at the screen and 10 feet at hitting area and projector mount and about 9 feet deep. The Pro Tee package includes the 2 cameras and a hitting mat for the sensor to be put in. I will have to add carpet in front of the hitting area.

Well Sam, it's really up to you and if you are happy with the price then that's all that matters. For what it's worth, here is my analysis:
1)Protee Package is about $2995 plus mat add $400
2)Decent impact screen - $300
3) Enclosure made of 3/4" EMT is about $200
4) Projector mount $30

5) Side Curtains (Tarp) - $250
Total Spend - $4175
Now that is what I spend on my setup for the items you are referencing. My enclosure is actually 10 x 10 x 5...I simply cut down the length because it looked and felt better. A picture of finished project is below.
Now, unless they are going to actually come in and assemble for you, etc. the work is really about the same. If you have any more questions let me know.
Congrats on your purchase...you will love it.

Thanks for taking the time responding with all that information! I was looking at the next step up on the Pro Tee system, but it still looks like I could do this quite a bit cheaper (even with the included projector). I haven't made a final decision yet--think I better take a little more time. Your setup looks fantastic (including the beer tap)!
