Mike, Rambo and I are teeing off at 3:30 if you want to join. We are playing our Match play at the same time (on Pebble Beach instead of the assigned course). It's the only way I am going to be able to get all my rounds in this weekend.

Absolutely brutal course with high wind. I propose we play one of the upcoming tournaments with no wind, easy pins and Forward tees... I think a birdie fest would be a nice change of pace not to mention a boost to the confidence after this week.

There's an easy one coming up in two weeks at Montreal. 6200 yards. I can make it no wind if you guys want.

I think we should consider not using the high winds in future tournaments. True everyone has to deal with it. But I play in wind all the time outside and I have never had to aim off the green when 30 yards out. When the ball lands it goes straight right or left. Its all good til you get close to the green, then it gets a little unrealistic. And in my opinion takes all the skill out of the game. I don't want to sound like a whiner but that's just my opinion.

I agree that the strong wind appears to have too much affect on the short game. But having strong wind IMO has been a great way to add difficulty to a tournament, especially these majors.

If we don't add wind, every course will be too easy for the big hitters and scratch golfers. The only other way is to use different tees based on your driving distance. Perhaps we can do that once the feature is available.

In the mean time, the strong wind stays for the majors.
