Hi there ! CBG778 here . I noticed that I was off the leaderboard of Farmers Insurance open . I really haven’t been paying attention to the message boards to be honest , so I am not for sure on rewind rules . I had 2 or 3 rewinds I think , when I shot 73-67 . They were misreads on a 5 iron I believe & a 7 iron ? I guess I should write them down . I am assuming there are no rewinds for anything now , so I apologize. Another question I had was that I am letting a guest play with me on the tournament rounds . Is that ok ? I know the score wouldn’t count , but I have a couple of friends that enjoy it . Thanks!

Took my first rewind in months on a chip that read 11* right that hit the center of my net. No advantage gained as still bogeyed of course. Pulled a lot of shots out of my ass this week!

Any one ever do a quick test on the Pro V1s vs. other balls for spin rate on the Skytrak?

I know we are all not Iron Byron but with enough data and shots from a pitching wedge, the spin rates should start showing some trends.

When I first bought my skytrak I did some ball comparisons with 7iron and 58 degree wedge...if interested here they are...

I'm happy to have a go at this too. I don't have a huge range of good condiion balls, will likely test a pro v1 and v1x, taylormade tp5x, srixon z tour xv, can throw in a cheap ball too. No iron byron here, but I'll try to get at least a decent bit of ball striking going before doing it, and write down notes of how certain strikes felt.

Here is my efforts tonight. Wedge was very consistent striking, 7i was a lot more erratic, I can say I was hitting it solid for the Wilson and Taylormade, hit and miss the rest.

A few things to note here:
1. My 7i was a little erratic, but when hit well, I'm happy with all the stats.
2. I am miles behind frodaddy in distance, but our numbers couldn't be more different, my launch is higher, spin higher, mph lower.
3. I don't know how to pick a ball. Taylormade doesn't seem to spin as much, Srixon holds it's head high against the Titleists. Cheap Wilson Staff got smashed for spin with a wedge, spin a lot for some reason with the 7i

Off globalgolfproducts ebay, called 3d soft feel mat. I haven't thought about changing it for a while, last i looked the big names weren't easily available in Australia
