  • Something clicked, Amazing rounds played.

Played two round tonight. First round at Mississaugua GCC Blue 6354 mthunt - 6354y. Truly an awesome course for me(amazing job mthunt). Really enjoyed it. Was striking the ball super well and ended up shooting 2 under. Swing felt really good so I didnt want to quit. Started a second round on Oakmont, the 6200 yard version. Ended up shooting my best sim round of 63. Doesn't even matter that I can't prove I didn't use any rewinds. SO elated right now. Might have only missed like 3 greens all night.

Nice. I had the exact opposite happen yesterday where I played my worst round I can remember until the final 3 holes. Couldn't hit a drive, an iron, a chip, or a putt lol.. yours must have felt so much better

There are so many great TGC courses and so many garbage ones. The trick is finding the good ones. A search for ProTee is usually a great way to search.

Yes. I’m a member. That design took a long time. I’m redoing it for TGC2. A few bunkers are too deep.

My problem is that is usually takes me a few play throughs before I form a solid opinion on a course. I think it takes a BAD round of golf to know how fair the course plays. If you play a course really well, then you miss a lot of the fudged details from the creators.

Still want to remake some of my favorite local courses in TGC, but its an insane time commitment.

Again, thanks for putting in the effort, I need to clean out my favorites because yours actually belongs and many don't.

One last thing, do you have a couple recommendations for your favorite TGC courses? Preferably under 7k as I can't swing my driver inside as the room isn't big enough. I know you have played a ton of these courses as you are a staple member of this smaller community.

Congressional, Pebble Beach, Oakmont, Magnolia Pines, East Lake, Walkers Course, and anything that is protee related are good. There's a lot.
    Working...
