Online newbie question

I probably have several questions but this one comes to mind right away. I have joined the tour but have yet to play an actual round. I wanted to play a practice round at the Woodland golf course. When I went to the first tee and played my first shot, "ghost" players showed up on my screen as I was playing - which interfered with my play as I had to wait my turn.... If I'm just playing a practice round and don't want ghost players there how do I do that?

You must have activated ghost players. While in the round you can remove players from your round, both ghost or live players. Go to manage players and select remove players.
