Playing TGC Tour afer installing TGC 2019

Due to the system requirements of TGC 2019, I though it best to upgrade to a better gaming computer before installing it, since I learned it installs both TGC1 and TGC 2019. I've been having connection issues with TGC 2019 and was working on it last night, when I decided just to launch TGC1 and play the first round of the Valero Open. Upon playing the first hole, I missed the green but chipped to 1 foot of the pin. It then was going to make me putt, and I realize something was wrong, as we have gimmies set on the tour. I realized I may have forgotten to turn shot recording back on in TGC1, but I cannot find the configuration file!!

So, I hooked the old computer back up, launched TGC 1, started the tournament again, and it started me off in the fairway after my tee shot. The rest of the round went without a hitch. Something must be wrong though, because I do not see my name on the leaderboard, so something tells me I screwed up big time.

Any ideas how to fix this?

TGC2019 doesn't even require the power of TGC1. There's no need to buy a new PC. TGC2019 comes with a dashboard. In the dashboard you can launch 1 or 2019. IT's pretty seamless.

There's some leader board glitches going on and ProTee is looking at it.

That's nice to know mthunt, thanks. My previous laptop only had a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics card. I moved up to something with a GTX 1070. 4 more Gigs of dedicated RAM.

I do know you can launch 1 or 2 from the 2019 dashboard, but the issue I had, was since I installed it on a new computer, is that when I started the tournament in TGC1, it wasn't acting like the tournament (no gimmies). That's why I hooked the old computer back up, since I always played the tournament on it.

How do we get 2019?? Did they ever decide if they were grandfathering people in that had previous version? I filled out the form last year but never heard anything back

Be patient: I filled the same form, never heard anything after... then I received a magical mail in the last few days!

So I tried continuing the tournament from my new laptop last night, and it did start me at the beginning of the second round. I didn't have time to play. but I will tonight or tomorrow night. I did notice that my first round is still not displaying on the leaderboard.

How do you play tournament in TGC2019?

Tournaments have not yet started on tgc 19. I read a list from protee saying they hope to start in the autumn.

Just play in society events for now. That will create a tournament feel with spectators.
