if they had the balls rolling on top of the grass like in Red chain that would solve alot of that. Now you have to rely on the color change in the line. and if its a gradual drop the line never changes color.

There are the balls rolling, I think that was in the settings as an option. You may need to turn that on.

I agree the putting is tough. not being able to get low and read the green is part of it. and the other part is TGC really reacts to the downhill more lifelike than red chain did. if your on a shelf and have 10 ft to the drop and a 40 ft putt in real life you play to the top of the shelf and then decide how much extra to give it depending on the drop. and its just like that with TGC the problem is you cant see the drop as well due to the shading. if they had the balls rolling on top of the grass like in Red chain that would solve alot of that. It feels like my ball should have made it half way there compared to the downhill but my shot still will sometimes be almost double the distance I needed.

I don't have much experience playing on other courses. Pine valley seems to be the favorite of everyone that comes out. So my summation here may be not indicative of every course.
I printed a list of courses so maybe this weekend I can get a chance to play another course.

Agree. Hopefully these HB guys will get this worked out sooner than later. Playing last night I'm finally seeing that its possible so score somewhat with TGC once one gets a hang of the putting.

Great match Rick... I just wish one of these times the sync thing would workout for us. Its really funny how so many can get get synced and then some can't. When we had problems in the first match I could see everyone. and others could see no one. Now the situation is reversed. everyone else can see all and I can't find anyone on the list. I have hooked up with Rick(Lono) a couple times but the last few times I could see him but he could not see me and then this time he can see me and I could not see him. It's still fun but I must say a lot of the fun is missing when you can't see the other shot.
