Also ready to get back into garage golf here soon.... I only played a handful of rounds on 19 last winter/spring.

What does/doesn't a society do compared to how tourneys are ran from protee on the original TGC? Is it still in the cards that protee will run 19 tourneys from the forum, or are societies taking over?

It's all societies. Protee is a society as is Noonan. Tournaments run from within.

I just don't understand this sport. Here is what happened. I couldn't hit a ball for the last 4 weeks because I had surgery. So today I figured I'll try if I can hit a few without problems. Since I never practice or warm up I started wizards society tournament, 1st ball in 4 weeks 1st teeshot of the tournament lol. I thought I try a few shots and quit. After 4 or 5 pars in a row and no pain I figured I keep going. Ended up playing 18 and the first time ever under par. Hit 14isch gir 2 even under regulation, missed 4 10 foot putts, one for eagle 3 for birdie and had a 3 put for bogey on the last par 3. I know this was a short and easy course but I played short and easy courses before just never under par. Hit the ball straighter then ever and as far as usual. I....... I...... I just don't get it lol

@Wizard that's a good question. I was sure I played your society. I am 100% sure it was a society event because there was no scoreboard in between the holes and it showed leaderboards. Didn't have much time so I shut it down right after and checked on the webside later on. Now I can't find it anymore. Drives me crazy. Wanted to take a Pic of my first under par score ever but I can't find it. All I know is that it was a very short course. One short par 4 that even I could reach. I did not but I could have lol. 2 par 5s that I could reach in 2. One par 4 was a dogleg left but you could take the shortcut, needed only like 250isch. Drives me nuts. Where is my score?

You should do the pelikila club next season. It's the opposite of most courses we play which are bomb and gouge. Course is visually impressive but it's target golf. Lots of irons off the tee. It's a HB studios course.

Some people will complain its too hard, but that's cause everyones used to being able to hit it anywhere. I'd be curious to see what the top of the field shoots.

I'll check it out. Ive got a target course coming up. Smoke rise? Suppose to be over the top difficult.

        Birchwood read target golf too.
    Working...
