Wiz - What are your overall thoughts on the course? I do agree with both of you guys about the color of the greens. I'm also not a fan of the default heavy rough texture that has the grey patches in it, so I'm going to go back over the course with the heavy rough brush. The green speed is close to perfect actually (maybe just a hair too fast), and the overall slopey-ness you guys were talking about is how that course actually plays. Those slopes do exist as you see them and ALL of the greens are tough. Especially #2 and #8 greens. I am going to flatten the green on the right side of 10, that was extreme and needs to be fixed. I'm surprised I missed that in my play testing.
The course is hard. I played Musket Ridge with one of the top amateurs (-3 handicap IRL) last year. I think he shot 71 69. Really really good player, and he shot 71, 70, 74 at Worthington at the MD Open this year. Only 4 rounds in the 60's total from the entire field in all 3 rounds. 72, 70, 70 actually won it if that tells you anything.
I don't fear negative feedback, I want to hear/see it so I can make my courses better!

I have no problem with difficult greens that's cool. The difficulty i had was the break lines are hard to see. I have never designed a course so i don't know what makes one course easier to see than another. If it's the green color or the time of day and brightness. If you figure out how to make greens in a way that the break lines pop out better i would stick to that.
That was really the only real complaint. We had a nice match as usual. Thank you for adding another awesome course to our library.

Its all about the green color. That color I selected has very little contrast with the green grid. I cleaned up a few things I noticed watching your round, changed the colors of everything and used the heavy rough brush to get rid of the grey/white areas of the default heavy rough. I also flattened the right side of 10's green and reduced the putting slider from 5.0 (default) to 4.8. I republished it as 'Worthington Manor GC' (without periods between the G and C).
It should now look and play how I want it to. Add it to the Noonan society if you still have room to add more events (and lets play it from the tips!). Playing it from the Reds takes all of the teeth out of the course.

This video is the second round of the match play tournament. Match against Marc Andre. It's really not good and i wouldn't recommend watching.
