Anybody interested in an easy no putting league? I know it's been tried before. I'm thinking of just making it 15 yard gimmes, so I don't have to deal with anyone not setting it correctly. Some weeks I just don't have the time to focus on the putting. Other weeks I want to warm up for a bit. I find I can get through a round in less than a half hour if I take away the putting. If no one is interested I'll just keep playing it myself. If anyone wants to join I'll put one together. I could make it the next weeks ProTee course for a warm up or different courses. Open to suggestions.

Can I ask about the ProTee tour this year - did we shorten the length of the courses? It seems to me like playing courses on the Pro tour from 6300 yards is a bit short - IMHO.

If we keep getting scores in the 50's im sure they will get lengthened. At least Noonan anyway. What are you shooting from 6300?

I've had my ups and downs (between -1 and -9 the last few weeks I believe), I think I shot -7 in the first round today, and am about to play the second round later. The distance question is less about what I or others shoot, and more about desiring a tour with some challenging courses on it. Today's course is a fine layout, but no course is challenging from 6100 yards with 425 yard par 5's.

We aim for 6300-6600. Rarely less and rarely more. It depends on what is available. For example, here's the season.

How long does that usually take? I've played both rounds of the Hero World Challenge, but I'm not on the leaderboard. I think I've set everything up correctly - shot recording, user profile settings...

Edit: nevermind, I'm there now. Next question - how does handicapping work?

I believe you have to play in a q-school tournament to first establish your tour handicap.

You should show up on the tour site as soon as you finish the event in full. Handicapping updates once a week
