Hey Guys, designer here. Thought I'd stop by to say hello.
ZMax, thanks again for picking the course for the tour. Hope you guys are enjoying it! Appriciate any feedback you may have!
This is based off a real course and yardages, fairway widths etc. are accurate to a yard or two, Green slopes also play close to the real thing.
You are playing forward tees on 5 and 11 - those are 590yds and 200yds torture chambers IRL, otherwise it's the standard members tees. ZMax set the flags relatively difficult compared to normal club competitions. The course has plenty of bite anyway due to difficult tee-shots. My tip is to not try to bite off too much dog-legs. Usually more risk than reward. Exceptions being 4 and 10.
Watched some of ZMax and MmLincons round, and enjoyed very much to see how "normal" golfers fared compared to the tour pro robot of the video game. They were for sure up to the same shenanigans that me and other members are when playing. But they are lucky to be on the simulator as there would have been a number of lost balls for them otherwise with some of those shots... Also, that false front on 9 and back left pin on 7 are just as annoying in game, I can see.
Did anyone try to drive the green on 4? If you have a 220yds high draw/hook in the bag it should be very much possible to get on.

Thanks for posting, McBogga, and thank you for the course design. We appreciate the work you guys do to help us play more balanced courses. Your course plays nicely. I find that if you are able to keep your tee shots in play you can score on this course. As for #4, I've tried a few times and I can't hit it that high and draw it enough, I'm always in the bush some 60 yards away.
Cheers
Rick

Thanks for the course design. I really like it - bunch of interesting holes and definitely some tee shots that are risk/reward. I enjoyed it!EST
