  • Network Errors ? Is there a fix

I'm starting to have issues playing live matches. I'm getting long delays after another player hits a shot waiting for the game to transfer to my shot. Then while going through the societies it gets stuck giving me one of 2 errors at times.
    1. Unknown network error
    or
    2. Unknown network error error code hb-rs 1702

I have problems, too. It takes a very long time until the online course is loaded. In my last round there was no shot recording. Anyone else having this problems (TGC 1)?

Today I have to wait over 20 minutes before I can start to play....
Network is ok, other applications are running fast.
      Any idea?

If your router is capable of assigning Quality of Service (QoS) I would recommend you find the MAC address of your simulator and the device you are connecting to the simulator and add them both to the high priority packets or QoS settings. I also recommend assigning them both a manual or static IP from your DHCP pool so they are always assigned the same IP address every time. If you are connecting via WIFI and using a repeater or extender specifically for these devices I would add the same QoS settings to it in your main router. This won't speed up your internet connection any but it will place those devices as first priority within your LAN which should eliminate any local area network connection issues.

As for your internet many providers have their default DNS servers assigned to your equipment. Most of these you can change to whatever DNS provider near you is providing the fastest speeds. For example Google DNS servers (8.8.8.8) might be faster for you than your local provider DNS. This will speed up your resolution meaning web pages load faster as it does not take as much time to resolve their IP address from the naming convention. Search up fastest DNS servers near me and test a few out to see if you get better results than your currently getting.

Again these are just ways to ensure your local network is optimized for your equipment and that you have the fastest DNS servers you can but this will not guarantee that the server your going to will run any faster

As I wrote local network performance is not the problem. All other applications are running stable and fast. Internet speed test shows about 50 MBit Download.
Two weeks ago there were no such problems.
I did a test at 1 pm today (German time), the course was loaded faster. At 7 pm I waited about 9 minutes and score card was not found several times:

I played a few practice holes on south flowers, took about 10 minutes to load the course. Then I wanted to play the tournament and now I am waiting about 45 minutes to load my scorcard!!! 2 or 3 weeks ago there were no such problems. Is this a server issue at the time I want to play?

Am I the only one with this problem? Anyone out there with an idea???
I tried it again to play the tournament but after one hour of waiting I gave up, loading of the scorecard before starting the game didn't work...
Just now I have the same problem.
All other applications with internet are running fast and immediately...

This issue is really strange. I have seen no degradation in network connectivity or speed. Hopefully, you get this figured out.

To give an update: The last weeks all connections are fast again. I didn't change anything, perhaps any server somewhere was reconfigured...
