How are gross scores calculated?

Hi All,
I just joined the Q-School society today and played my first 2 rounds to start working towards establishing my handicap. had a tough time in the first round scoring a 10 on a 300 yard par 4 🤯 and ended up with a 80. Shot a 69 in the 2nd round, made sure to not make the same mistakes.

my question is my gross score should be +7, however the leaderboard is showing +15.

am I missing something in how gross is calculated. I thought it was your straight up score.

Something is clearly screwed up. There's 3 guys who shot 151 for 36 holes and it's showing different scores relative to par for each of them (even, -4 and +12). Maybe they will catch it. (And while they're at it maybe they will also catch the guy who shot 63 without putting lol)
