Hi guys, I’m new to the Protee society tours and I’m wondering what the rules are for boost. I can’t hit driver in my set up and I struggle for distance from the tee and I’m so far behind for the second shot. Is there any allowed boost percentage for play on the tours? I play Protee United, Q School and exhibition tours. From local play I find 15% boost gets me where I need to be with driver boost.

I don't think it's allowed. I'm in same boat - ceiling 8'6". Can hit hybrids max so flushing tee shot is 215-220 carry. Just have to suck it up and know you're going to have long approaches, with some par 4's and most par 5's unreachable.
On the bright side, went to FL and Myrtle Beach last month and played a lot, and it was so nice having regular length approaches. Real holes and scoring seem way easier after struggling all winter with long approaches on the sim.

5% boost is the typical allowed amount for society play. I believe each of the tours you mentioned allow 5%. Each tournament lists the rules over on the right side of the screen where you enter the tournament. Look there for rules about boost and gimmies and what not.
Protee United can be a little on the longer side in terms of yardage but exhibition season and winter league are usually played on the shorter side. There's also a par 3 society (short bus) that could be good for you.Last edited by 3on3putt; 03-08-2021, 02:02 PM.
