Shot rewinds during tournaments

Is it acceptable to rewind a shot during a tournament when there is ghost shots.

Example:- Just started the open championship tournament and had a shot 9 yards to pin and a ghost shot hit the ball 140ish yards. Had three others as well and not even made it to the 9th hole.

All the shots registered when I was nowhere near the hitting area.

I get this on Putting sometime trying to move the ball to my position with the putter head. Not like yours but they are very annoying. I am trying to force myself to place the ball by hand when I want a different spot on the mat.

Rewinds should be disabled during tournaments. It shouldn't be an option.

Rewinds are disabled for tour events. If you somehow have two balls in the field and get a misread it’s rub of the green.

Fair enough. I didn’t even check if rewinds where turn off. I think I know why they happened. I have a outdoor setup at the moment and when the wind blows I get some miss reads, no reads or ghost shots. I think the trees behind the net and the net itself can trigger the mevo+ on occasions.
