Has anybody got any theories as to why there are less players on the Protee Tour these days? They are down about 50% from 2020-2022. My theory is that many are using GS Pro. GS Pro have a lot of users and have a few hundred in their tournaments each week. The gameplay and graphics are far inferior to TGC in my opinion so I’m surprised that a lot of these new users are not on TGC. I live in the UK and I’m often the only UK player on the Protee Tour which is surprising given that TGC 2019 is all over the first page of Google when you search for golf sim software here.
GS Pro is cheaper and does have a good website and active Discord community so that may be why others are choosing them.
i just love the gameplay of TGC and look forward to playing each week. I tried GS Pro and got bored very quickly. Has anybody else noticed the drop off in numbers and can you think of any other reasons for this?
