Did anyone experience the valley of death on 17? Today I hit into the rough in virtually the same spot and found it to be just as tough. But at least I could reach the fairway this time. The last time I must have been closer to the right edge than I thought. I went into practice mode to see if I could find the label and to get the distance I had to be almost to the right edge. But the label reads "Fairway".

And Libb what did you finally do to get it to work? would be nice to know just in case something like that ever happens to me.

I was able to hit the green on 17 by adding a club or two of distance to account for the hills. Can't remember what the wind was doing. Combine that wind with the hills, and club selection was pretty tough on that course. I had nailed a drive on that, so I was only 145 out and in the fairway, but played it like a ~160 yard shot and it was ok.

Re: crashing during loading - I think I had a corrupted course file. After leaving you guys, I tried to host a round by myself on Ledgerock and it crashed just like when you guys were on with me. But then I launched several different courses and they worked. Very very odd since I could play ledgerock by myself - it was only an issue when trying to go online.

So I reinstalled the course pack 6 just in case something happened to the file. After that it worked! I didn't re-download the course pack, I just re-executed the file to reinstall them. Very odd, but it worked.
