Needs some ideas on what courses you guys want to play on for our future tournaments. I will then make a touring schedule to cover the next month or two.
I'd like to see Olympic, Cor'de Lane, Firestone, Pebble beach, and spy glass, the one in Hawaii, Muirfield. But it really don't matter I like them all.
It might be fun to follow the PGA. Play the same courses they are when possible and find something similar when not or just pick out a foreign one for that week.
I am with MM, if we can play the same course they are that would be fun! This way I can pretend I am playing on the PGA tour at home instead of just when I am BrainGolfing at work!!
That sounds OK with me too. As long as we have a list for whats up next we can practice the course. If we don't have the course they are playing on we may have a course in that state or country. We can just use one of them. Or just pick one random. What ever is easiest. Now need to make this list take up a lot of time.
And another thing. I like the idea of mixing up the conditions of the courses. So, say easy or normal pins for day 1 and hard for day 2.
Oooh, how about matching the weather conditions...well that might be tough since we all play different days. We could change the surface conditions, hard, soft or normal depending on PGA conditions but we'd have to play after them in that case. Just thinking out loud....
I like the idea of different conditions, but they will have to be announced at the time the event is created to give people time to practice them. We can change it up with wind and use soft normal conditions, or maybe even set the rough to 30-40 percent for majors.
We won't do hard conditions. We tried that once and the ball would roll forever.
yeah I am all for the conditions thing.... Just post them so we can at least have a chance to see what it does to your game. I like the idea of changing the pins but I think when we tried that you got limited as to who you had to play with to get your rounds in. Maybe just stick to one pin placement throughout the tournament. The hard pins were fun on Augusta.
Was not sure where to place this, but there is a link to all the courses score cards, but this link was through my first golf sim that I had. Not sure if it is ok to post a link to it or not. Z or Bubba may know if its ok or not.
Any way they have all the tee boxes listed and yardage and par for each so it makes it easier to know what is comming up on the next hole so that you can be ready for it. IE: get your driver set up or you Iron and know the yardage, however that may vary a bit but I think should be the same as they are Red Chain courses.
Just printed out the next few courses comming up and noticed Village Links of Glen has 27 holes. Have not looked at it yet but now will, just to see if all 27 are there.
all 27 are there and I can not wait to play there in the tournament. I really like this course. all ready had 54 holes in by the time I got to the last 9 so I skipped it. But I can't wait to finish them all.
