2014 Protee Online Golf Senior Tour

How many would be interested in a tour for folks ages 50 and over? It could also include folks with 18+ hdcp or folks that don't have the time to play 2 rounds a week. Tournaments will be hdcp and only have 1 round. I can set it up for 1 tournament a week or 1 every other week. There would be majors also.

Tees will be around 6000 or less. Playing in the senior tour will not exclude you from the regular tour. Just let me know if you're going to play in both.

Yes, it is a good idea for us old farts! Even if we don't get enough seniors for tournaments, we could still make Group called Seniors to join so we would know who is 50 or over just to have a friendly match once in a while.

I'm not sure yet how much I will be able to play a week on line yet as some times just getting out to play a few holes can be tough. I may play more if it were only one per week and then if I had time I could always play both.

Never thought about internet useage? Does this count as download time? Sorry to ask here but not sure it was worth opening a new thread for the question. My plan is not great here but it says 100GB/ month.

Is this an issues playing on line? We don't download very much at all in general.

Its works in offline so I'm hoping this works in online play also. For example, the shortest tees at Lookaway club are 6000 yards while the men's tees are at 6600. The game should put the seniors(female types) at 6000 while the rest of us younger the guys play at 6600. Just a though. Let me know what you guys think.

Internet usage should not be an issue. Very little data is transferred between the players.

That idea for shorter tees is a good idea..... and they would be better to look at than the guy we have now.

Just tested my theory online and it works! Female type players will be put on the shortest tees.

Here's what I propose. Guys 50+, gays(don't think we any yet), high hdcp, or folks that don't hit it far, create a player for online play but set the type to female, if you choose. But let me know.

You can play just one round if you want but you will only get the least amount of points? Or only half of the points? Running the tour is a lot of work and trying to run two tours will eventually be too much work for me. I would like to keep it all in one tour and just do as I suggested above with the female player type. But anybody is welcome to run the senior tour if there's a volunteer. i.e. create events, create mleaderboard games, create the necessary discussion threads, etc...

If you guys want to have a place for seniors and casual players, that's fine too. Just start a thread for it.
