Oh man. What an epic match. Lono stuffed a 160 yard iron on 2 for a gimme birdie. I 3 jacked a putt (including a miss from 5.0) on 3 and he was up by two right off the bat. We then played almost the exact same game for the rest of the match exchanging blows. Same shaped shots. Same misses. My short game couldn't keep up during the front nine. But Lono had a few long lag putts that were left too short on the back nine leading to some ill-timed 3 putts and I tied it up by 16. Another short lag by Lono on island hole 17 and I went up 1. Both of us laced a drive down the incredibly narrow 18th. He pulled his approach just left. I pushed mine right into the bunker. I was able to get a gimme par and he had to hole out his chip. Ran it by to give me the win. Unreal match. Great game Lono. It was really fun going back and forth. Amazing how we kept hitting good and bad shots almost the same way. Till next time.

Nice round Z. Thought it was going to be a long night after the first 4 holes. But settled down and made a couple putts when I needed to. You got robbed to many times on the chips. If those drop it would have been a all together different match.

No Idea Bubs, What do you say Brandon? These match play events are tough for us weekend golfers. I struggle to get 2 rounds in a week for the regular tournaments.
