No doubt we are having a Spring tour with all the interest. There seems to be much interest in having extended round ie 3 for regular events and 4 for Majors. Not everyone may want to play the extended rounds. Here is a suggestion:
Regular Standard tour will be 2 rounds (regular events) and 3 rounds Majors. Points assigned as usual. If you don't want to play anymore you stop there. A winner will be assigned as usual based on the net scores. All those that play will be on ths leaderboard.
Champions/Extended Tour - those that want to play an extra event will compete in the extra play. What I suggest is the points from the regular event carry over and ar added to this extra day. So for example if player X comes first in the regular tour event then he gets say 50 points. If he finishes last in the extra day he ges 20 points for a total of 70 points. Highest point total wins that Champions event. In case of point ties then the person with the best net score on the extended day will be crowned.
Any thoughts? Is there enough interest fir the Champions/Extended Tour?
